Hello 👋 My name is Carl, and I am a '24 Code Next Alumni attending the University of Texas at Austin. I started coding in 8th grade and have since dabbled in everything from programing video games with blocks in Scratch (which I also taught as my first job being a tutor) to making Backend server code in Go/Python and everything in between. For my final project, I made a ""wishtree"" project - basically something where past Code Next participants can share words of laughter/encouragement/advice for future members. My favorite club during my time at code next was definitely Creative Coding, and thank you to Coach Vanessa and everyone else involved for giving me this opportunity.
